Darling Rouying is coping with running nose :-(

My poor Darling is having a running nose, and that leads to bit of cough and she is also losing her voice. Guess the weather is the culprit. Understand lots of kids are suffering from flu and cough too. Due to her flu/running nose, she is a bit grouchy. Guess this is inevitable as she feels uncomfortable and wakes up in the middle of the night with some cries. It pains my heart to see her suffer. Hope the medicine she is taking will ease the bug and she recovers soon!

Darling Rouying say "apple"

On Thursday (5 March), Darling Rouying said "apple". I was taken by surprise! She probably hear us say this word pretty often as we usually give her apple as fruit. On Friday (6 March) morning after her bath, she said "apple" again! Hooray Darling, keep up the good work!!

Darling Rouying say "Bye bye"!!

Darling Rouying always use the hand sign to say "bye bye" but this morning at the PD's clinic (brought her to see PD as she has running nose), she SAID it out!! She was playing with someone at the clinic and she out of the blue SAID "bye bye" to this other party and this other party was surprised, returned a bye bye to Rouying too. Hooray, Darling! Keep up the good work!

Darling Rouying finally kissed Mummy (3 March 2009)!

My darling very cheecky and "naughty". She has been kissing her Daddy and her unborn brother but just simply refused to kiss me. However tonite i asked her to kiss me and she did!! M sooooooo happy!

"New" food for Rouying

I recently introduced new food to Rouying. In the past i just gave her milk for breakfast. Of late, i have introduced softmeal and wholemeal bread with cheese for breakfast and she enjoys!

As for dinner, instead of porridge which she has been taking for the past months, i intro kway tiao soup and mee tai mak soup with threadfin for her. She enjoys too and finished the whole bowl!!

Guess kids this age are curious to try anything new! I will be trying rice soon. Will update her reaction then.

My Darling did the "thumbs-up" sign!!

Yesterday morning i gave Rouying wholemeal bread with cheese and i asked her if the same was nice, and she gave me the "thumbs-up" sign!!! So clever of her! I taught her before but she has never used this sign. I was taken by surprise as she always "answered" me by nodding her head.
Hooray Darling! Keep it up!
